Position - Resource Room Assistant Teacher

I believe that every child is uniquely made in the image of God.  Each of us has a different purpose to fulfill in God’s Kingdom and has been created to learn, grow and thrive in that purpose. It is the job of the educator to instill in the student that they are valued and loved for who they are as God’s child.  We can’t all be great at all areas of life, but learning about all the variety of things in God’s world helps us to understand Him better and each other better. We will never be able to understand all the complexities in God’s amazing world, but, as a teacher, I can open a child’s mind to the awe and wonder of who God is and how amazing He is.  I will support the learning process in whatever way I am able.

My favorite Bible verse is: 2 Corinthians 4:18 “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. Since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
