Position - 1st Grade Teacher

Education:  Dordt University for BA and MA.

I love seeing my students develop and being part of their physical, emotional, academic, social, and spiritual growth. First graders change so much from the beginning to the end of the year! My students often start the year reading only simple words and leave as confident readers. Throughout the year they become more independent, begin to solve problems, and develop socially. Most importantly, I love seeing them develop in their knowledge of who God is, how they belong in His plan, and how they see God around them.

My favorite Bible verse of Faith's is, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”  Psalm 46:10
