Education: Dordt University (BA), University of Northern Iowa (MA) and University of Sioux Falls (MA).

Christian education means connecting faith and learning.  These two aspects should never be addressed separately.  Teachers should be intentional about connecting these two aspects together in the classroom.  The students should be taught how to connect their faith and live it out.  Connecting faith should not only be done in learning, but throughout the entire school system.  The school board should be challenged to address faith nurturing into the development of long-term planning.  The administrative team should be challenged to keep faith and learning in the forefront of all decision making and direction they provide.  

My favorite Bible verse is: Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
