Popcorn words are the high-frequency words that we learn to read in kindergarten.  We call them popcorn words because they pop-up so often in our reading.

Unit 1:  am, I, little, the, a, to

Unit 2:  have, is, like, my, we, for, he, Bible

Unit 3:  me, she, with, look, see, Jesus, of, they, you

Unit 4:  are, do, that, one, two, three, four, five, God, from, here, go

Unit 5:  blue, green, yellow, said, was, that, come, where

Unit 6:  what, red, purple, orange, pink, brown, white, black
