Hi first graders and their parents,

This has been a very scary, happy, wonderful week.  What happened at the beginning of the week, I may never fully remember.  Some things are coming back with the help of family and friends.  I hope to be back with you at the end of next week, Lord willing.  I can't wait to see all of my students.  Thanks for the beautiful flowers!  They still look great.  Thanks for the cards and pictures and visits.  I know Mrs. Brummel is doing her best to be your teacher, while I am away.  Thank you, so much, Mrs. Brummel!!

Today I am in Soux City.  My son, Dan, had 8 teeth pulled in preparation for braces, and  I went to Mercy Medical to get the little box in my chest checked.  They showed me how to test its strength and they will know if it helped me in any way.

Thank you for all your prayers!  My prayer now is that God will let me be with you next week.
