Telephone Numbers:
The kindergarteners are learning their telephone numbers. If they say their number, they will receive a treat.
Cans of Vegetables
Next week the kindergartners will meet Ms. V who wears a vegetable vest. On Wednesday, March 3, the students are encouraged to bring 1 or 2 cans of vegetables to school. We will be doing a variety of cross- curricular activities with our cans. When we are finished with them, we will be donating our cans to the new Hull Food Pantry. Thanks for your help.
Bible Memory Work
There will be no Bible memory work for the month of March. Instead, I will be teaching the kindergarteners the books of the Bible song. We will work on learning this song each morning before our Bible lesson.
Reading Challenge
This month we will be having a reading challenge in kindergarten. Each student is challenged to read to someone in his/her family at least 12 different days during the month of March. Students can read the little books that come home or any other
easy reader books that they are capable of reading. Each student needs to make an X on the day that they practice reading. If they have at least 12 Xs on their calendar at the end of the month, they will receive a Free Mini Pizza coupon from the Pizza Ranch.
Writing Week
Thank you for all of your help with writing week! I’m so proud of the kindergarten students! Their folders were full of writing ~ Great Job! They are almost ready for 1st Grade!!!
