CONSTITUTION OF THE HULL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CIRCLE
ARTICLE I
Name: This organization called the Christian School Circle was organized October 30, 1953.
ARTICLE II
Aim: The chief purpose of this organization is to work for the advancement of the Hull Christian School and to strengthen the bonds of Christian fellowship among our parents and constituents.
ARTICLE III
Membership: Membership is open to any person interested in Christian education. However, all families who have a child or children in this school are members of the Christian School Circle and are expected to have at least one parent active in the work of the Circle.
ARTICLE VI
Meetings: This organization shall meet on the first day of school and on a Monday of alternate months during the school year.
ARTICLE V
Officers:
a. The officers of this organization shall consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice-Treasurer.
b. Officers shall be elected by ballot at the regular meeting in May.
c. Officers shall be elected for two successive years, then must retire for one year, after which they are eligible for re-election.
d. Each year a Vice-President, Vice-Secretary, and Vice-Treasurer will be elected. They will serve one year in this office and the following year will move up to be President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
e. All officers will be elected by a majority vote, that is one more than half of those present.
ARTICLE VI
Meetings:
a. This organization shall meet on the fourth Monday of alternate months during the school year.
b. The meetings will be at the Hull Christian School.
c. There will be no dues.
d. Free will offerings will not be taken at each meeting.
e. Two members of Circle will be asked to serve lunch at the meeting.
ARTICLE VII
Order of Meetings:
a. Open with devotions or singing, scripture, and prayer.
b. Minutes and Treasurers report.
c. Business
d. Speaker
e. Closing Prayer by one of the lunch commitee.
ARTICLE VIII
Constitution: The constitution shall be read at the regular August meeting, or as often as requested, and be amended by a majority vote.
